Even with the money that the fan production had raised ( 2 million I think ) that's nothing compared to the monster budgets of today's Hollywood blockbusters. It's not even a drop in the bucket. To be honest with you, I think that the fan production of Star Trek Continues is the first show that got me excited about Star Trek in many, many years.
