Toledo mayoral primary
I wrote "I want to see if infrastructure was a deciding issue" for determining who the general election candidates will be for Toledo Mayor. The answer appears to be yes and no. The candidates who came in second and third were the ones featured in Sinkhole and infrastructure become issues in Toledo election, so one of them was able to use that issue to their advantage. That's the yes part. I'll let WNWO explain the no part in General election campaign for Toledo mayor begins.
Bell finishes first, Collins second in 7 candidate primary.
Instead, it looks like the issues have become public safety and labor relations. While it's not infrastructure, it's still an example of how politics and policy have become struggles between austerity and sustainability.
