I'm heading west and north to Illinois with Phantom Regiment 2023 'Exogenesis' Prelims Opening Hit Feature - 2023 DCI World Championships from FloMarching.
I thought switching from classical music, which Phantom Regiment is known for, to Muse to be a bold choice. I have an ambivelent opinion of the band, which I summarized in R.I.P. Art Bell: "On the one hand, they're brilliant musicians. On the other, they're complete tinfoil-hat wearing kooks." At least the music worked, although it was still about a fringe scientific idea, not a conspiracy theory.

Tempe, AZ | 16th Place | 82.200That was a more epic version of "Oompa Loompa" than I played in 1976 at the LAUSD Band and Drill Team Championships. It's certainly more elaborate than Jagwar Twin's version, which is riding the coattails of Wonka.
