Randy Rainbow asks 'HOW WILL YOU VOTE?' for Flashback Friday

Happy Flashback Friday! It's finally time to start my retrospectives of the top posts of the 13th year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News with the subject of the top entry actually posted during the blogging year just ended, Randy Rainbow.* Since this is a Flashback Friday, Randy is not putting out new videos while he's on tour, and the major party presidential nominees will almost certainly be the same as four years ago, I'm celebrating today with a video that turns out to be just as timely now as it was then, Randy asking HOW WILL YOU VOTE? - A Randy Rainbow Song Parody.

I know who I'm voting for in November. Do you?

Follow over the jump for the top posts featuring Randy Rainbow during the 13th year of this blog.

The most read entry posted during the 13th year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News was Randy Rainbow sings 'Donald in the John With Boxes' from June 24, 2023. It earned ~5,940 default and 6,147 raw page views, which the graphic above rounds to 6.15K, by 11:59 P.M. on March 20, 2024, making it the second most read entry overall. Web search and normal social media sharing propelled it to a tie for 18th place during June 2023 with 74 default and 75 raw page views. It was also the most active share at the Crazy Eddie's Motie News Facebook page that month with 8 reactions. I shared it at the Coffee Party USA/Citizen Connect Facebook page during July 2023, earning it ~5,910 default and 5,944 raw page views to be the most read entry that month. Between June and July 2023, the entry earned a total of ~5,980 default and ~6,020 raw page views. As usual for entries on this blog, Blogger reduced its default page views while it continued to gain raw page views since.

The fourth most read entry posted last year was Randy Rainbow sings 'Don't Arraign on His Parade!' from August 22, 2023. Normal social media sharing earned it 56 default and 69 raw page views, enough to rank 19th according to the former and 26th according to the latter during August 2023. I shared at the Coffee Party USA/Citizen Connect Facebook page during August 2023, earning the entry ~1,540 default and 1,569 raw page views, enough to make it the second most read entry during the month. It ended the blogging year with ~1,570 default and 1,681 raw page views, which placed it in fourth according to default but fifth overall according to raw page views.

Placements get a little messier with Randy Rainbow sings about Trump's indictment while Seth Meyers takes a closer look posted on April 4, 2023. Sharing it at the Coffee Party USA/Citizen Connect Facebook page during April 2023 earned it 605 default and 614 raw page views to rank it first that month. It continued to bleed default views but gain raw views to end the blogging year with 538 default and 694 raw page views. Those placed it tenth overall according to the first measure, eighth among entries posted during the blogging year, but twelfth overall according to the latter metric. As I wrote, a little messy.

Last year's retrospective listing the top posts featuring Randy Rainbow was Randy Rainbow sings 'Life's a (bleep)ing Fantasy for Santos' on Flashback Friday from March 24, 2023, which also made it the first retrospective of the previous year's top posts. Huh. I shared it at the Coffee Party USA/Citizen Connect Facebook page during March 2023, earning 452 default and raw page views to rank fourth among entries posted that month and fifth overall. It was also among my top Twitter/X shares that month. It ended the year with 506 raw page views but fewer than 379 default page views to rank 18th among entries posted last year by raw page views and 26th overall.

I plan on resuming this series on Easter with a highlights post of tomorrow night's Saturday Night Live. In the meantime, stay tuned for a post that will still be good after April 1st, no fooling!

*This was not the most read post during the 13th year. That distinction belongs to one from the back catalog and was the subject of the entry that was taking too long that I postponed to write and upload It's Wayback 'Wednesday' instead. The joke will be just as good next Wednesday, April 3rd, so look for it then.
