News and Documentary Emmy Awards for the seventh year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News

I plan on posting the next installment, which will be on the most read News and Documentary Emmy Awards entries, tomorrow.  Stay tuned for a Flashback Friday retrospective!
That's how I concluded Verge Science updates bees on the endangered species list plus environmental policy for the seventh year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News and that's exactly what I'm doing.

The most read entry in this review of the seventh year of this blog isn't actually about last year's News and Documentary Emmy Awards; it's about this year's.  'Putin's Revenge' on Frontline: Looking forward to next year's Emmys 3 from November 30, 2017 is a prediction of an Emmy nominee.  Even so, it earned 3509 raw page views for the blogging year, enough for it to rank 20th overall and 18th among entries actually posted between March 21, 2017 and March 20, 2018.  It was also the fourth most read entry during December 2017 with 3261 default page views after maxing out at 3360 default and 3393 raw page views on December 19, 2017.  Before being shared at the Join The Coffee Party Movement Facebook page at 11 P.M on December 2, 2017, this post had 105 default page views.  It earned 1557 default page views in the first two hours and ~3000 in the first 24 hours after being shared.  It, along with "Vox explains how proportional representation can solve gerrymandering and help minor parties" and "Ezra Klein of Vox explains how third parties are the Underpants Gnomes of U.S. politics" helped attract 10,073 page views to the blog on December 3, 2017, which set a record for daily page views that lasted until February 5, 2018, when John Oliver on stadiums and NFL cheerleaders for Super Bowl Sunday and Two Emmy winners examine youth and high school football together earned 10,681 page views for a new record.  That high-water mark only lasted a month, when Suit against John Oliver and HBO dismissed helped attract 16,732 page views to the blog, setting a new record for daily page views on March 4, 2018.  That record only lasted a month itself until April 8, 2018, when Facebook knows your political affiliation and much more helped attract 23,947 page views to the blog the day it was shared, the current record.  Sic transit gloria mundi.

I plan on blogging about this entry in September, when I will once again train my gaze on the News and Documentary Emmy nominees.  Until then, follow over the jump for the actual News and Documentary Emmy nominees and winners from last year along with an entry that I missed when I put together The Primetime Emmy Awards for the seventh year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News.

The most read entry about one of last year's News and Documentary Emmy winners was 'Trump University Fraud' wins Outstanding Business, Consumer, Economic Report from November 4, 2017.  It earned 3424 raw page views, which allowed it to become the 21st most read entry of last year and the 19th most read among entries actually posted during the seventh year of this blog.  It was also the second most read entry both overall and posted during November 2018 with 3320 default page views.  This post had 69 default and 71 raw page views before being shared at the Join the Coffee Party Movement Facebook page.  It earned ~1600 page views in the first two hours and ~2425 total in the first 24 hours after being shared.

For the next entry, I'm being a good environmentalist and recycling what I wrote in Football and the Super Bowl for the seventh year of Crazy Eddie's Motie News.

The 33rd most read entry of the previous blogging year and the 29th most popular actually posted during the seventh year of the blog was Two Emmy winners examine youth and high school football from October 15, 2017.  It ended the blogging year with 2451 raw page views.  It was also the seventh most popular entry during February 2018 with 2218 default page views.  Before being shared at the JTCPM Facebook page, this post had 218 raw page views.  It earned 1788 default page views in the first two hours and 2100+ in the first 24 after being shared.  It contributed to 2918 page views to the blog the hour it was shared and 10,681 page views the day it was shared.
It was a good thing I quoted this entry; I might have missed crucial landmarks in daily page views.

The prequel to 'Putin's Revenge' on Frontline is the next entry in this retrospective.  Frontline's "The Choice 2016" wins Outstanding Politics & Government Documentary from November 3, 2017 earned 2406 raw page views, ranking it 34th among all entries during the seventh year of this blog and 30th among those actually posted between March 21, 2017 and March 20, 2018.  The entry also ranked fourth among entries posted during November 2017 with 2278 default page views.  It was also the most liked on Twitter for the month with one like.  This post earned 718 page views in the first two hours after being shared at the Join the Coffee Party Movement Facebook page and 1880 page views in the first 24 hours after being shared.  It had 62 page views before being shared.

'Body Team 12' and 'Extremis' both nominated for Outstanding Short Documentary plus other science, health, and environment nominees from October 5, 2017 had the second most comments among entries posted during the seventh year of this blog with ten comments.

Jeff Beal wins the only Emmy for 'House of Cards' this year from September 21, 2017 was liked and responded to by Jeff Beal himself on Twitter.  Beal's reply was liked 10 times, which I am applying to this post, making it the most liked on Twitter.

While I'm not done with entertainment, as I plan on posting a retrospective about popular posts examining the Academy Awards, that's not what I'm posting next.  Instead, I will be serving political leftovers.  I plan on warming that meal up next Thursday.  Stay tuned.

Previous retrospectives about entertainment and politics. Previous entries about the top posts of the seventh year of this blog.
