Mitt Romney has always been at war with Eastasia

Wednesday's debate was marked by Mitt Romney exposing the GOP's distain for its own ideas, something Newt Gingrich used against him in the primaries. As a consequence, Willard the Rat reversed himself on an entire list of his previous policy positions, more than I can list here (although Think Progress, PoliticusUSA, and Daily Kos made noble attempts at cataloging his flip-flops and outright lies). The most obvious of them was his disavowal of the tax plan he's been campaigning on for the past year. DKosTV on YouTube has the signature moment, along with some of the times he mentioned the tax plan in earlier debates and speeches.

Yeah, Willard, and you've always been at war with Eastasia, too. Too bad for you that the rest of us aren't engaging in doublethink.
