Willard Scissorhands bullies Big Bird

An even bigger issue coming out of Wednesday's debate than Willard the Rat's lies and flip-flops was his promise to defund PBS. CNN asks A war on Big Bird?

Big Bird's feathers may have been ruffled by the presidential debate. Anderson Cooper puts the issue on the RidicuList.
In addition to this being a bone thrown to the corn pone fascists in his own party who hate public broadcasting, this was also an attempt to put the moderator Jim Lehrer in his place. In context, it was another act of domination by a bully. Willard Scissorhands strikes again!

At the time, Willard the Rat may have thought this was a real winner. It wasn't. People are even more mad about it now than they were yesterday. My take on why this blew up in Romney's face was that he ran afoul of what motivates Americans to act.
America is quite clear about its screwed up priorities. My experience has convinced me that the surest way to get Americans to act is to mess with their entertainment.
By attacking Big Bird and the rest of the cast of Sesame Street, Willard the Rat has messed with Americans' entertainment. This will not end well for him.
