Happy Sweetest Day 2023 on a day that also celebrates pumpkin cheesecake, apples, reptiles, and 'Back to the Future'

Happy (National) Sweetest Day! I begin today's observance of a day unfairly called a Hallmark Holiday on a day that celebrates pumpkin cheesecake, apples, reptile awareness, and Back to the Future with Uploads of Fun's Sweetest Day and Other Stupid Made-Up Holidays!!!

Hey Goonie Gang! Today, Deez Quizzes is all Sweetest Day and other stupid made-up Holidays!!! Some of these holidays you've probably never heard of. Our challenge is even stupider than the holidays we are talking about!!! As always, THANKS FOR WATCHING!!!
*Snork* That was hilarious! I'd have done better, but only because I always have at least one tab open to National Day Calendar. I love holidays!

Follow over the jump for the rest of the days I'm celebrating today.

After at least tasting all the candies injected with weird and sometimes distasteful fillings, maybe Josh, Jackson, and Calvin will want to eat some pumpkin cheesecake for National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day - October 21.

Each year on October 21st, National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day ushers in the flavors of fall. Cheesecake is one of America’s favorite desserts and by adding pumpkin, we celebrate the essential flavoring of the season.

This sweet dessert mixes fresh soft cheese, cream cheese or cottage cheese, eggs, and sugar to create a base. The crust is made from crushed graham crackers, crushed cookies, pastry, or sponge cake. Pumpkin may be added to cheesecake recipes in various ways. For example, it may be swirled throughout, mixed thoroughly with all ingredients, or layered. Bakers prepare cheesecakes both baked or unbaked. Some bakers flavor cheesecakes and top them with fruit, fruit sauce, chocolate, or whipped cream.
Too bad I'm a diabetic, or I'd join them.

They might also like some apples. National Day Calendar doesn't have a video for National Apple Day, but it does have one for National Apple Month October.

Throughout the month, apple displays explode in retailers across the country. Complementary products make their appearance and fill consumers with reminders of the ways apples fill the wish lists of family and friends during the holidays.

Whether we enjoy homemade apple butter or fresh-baked pies, or simply a ripe apple, the industry has us covered! Sales and distributors are prepared to meet the demand, so all you have to do is a delight in the goodness of the over 200 different varieties of apples available in the United States.
Josh and family might actually approve of this celebration. Apples and pumpkin cheesecake!

Next, a day that I appreciate but Josh and his family would probably consider too nerdy, NATIONAL REPTILE AWARENESS DAY | October 21st - National Day Calendar.

October 21st is National Reptile Awareness Day! Join Marlo Anderson for an overview of this national day.
I approve of this day. I also approve of Back to the Future Day. Apparently, so does Josh, as he's wearing a shirt showing Doc Brown. National Day Calendar doesn't have a video for it, so I'm embedding "Power of Love" and "Back in Time" - Back to the Future on GMA.

"Power of Love" is a great song for today!

See you tomorrow for another highlights post from tonight's Saturday Night Live as the Sunday entertainment feature. Stay tuned!
