Corpse flower blooms

I'm taking a break from cleaning to recycle this video I originally used in Overnight News Digest: Science Saturday (the cost of Arctic thawing): The Corpse Flower: Behind the Stink from National Geographic.

After an anxious wait, the famous corpse flower finally bloomed at the US Botanic Garden. While many visitors expected to smell the flower's powerful scent, a few were a little disappointed. Learn the science behind the corpse flower's smell.
What does this have to do with this month's theme?  It takes place in a hot house. *rimshot*

I know, that pun stinks as bad as the flower.  Deal with it.
