Holiday leftovers from DNews and Tipsy Bartender

While I've already posted Christmas-themed entries from Discovery News and Tipsy Bartender, it turns out both accounts posted more while I was traveling to and from Chicago for Christmas.  In the interest of completeness and because I'm still in an "I can't be all DOOM all the time" mood, here they are, beginning with Discovery News explaining Why You Should Still Exercise Over the Holidays.

Between Thanksgiving and New Year's there are so many opportunities to overeat. A little weight gain may be inevitable - even if you exercise! But don't let that discourage you from working out over the holidays. Guest host Annie Gaus explains the health benefits.
For more tips on this topic, read Losing weight after the holidays.

Follow over the jump for three Christmas drink recipes from Tipsy Bartender.

First, Nutella Henny Hot Chocolate.

THE NUTELLA HENNY HOT CHOCOLATE is an amazing holiday concoction. It is super delicious and the hennessy taste is well hidden. Enjoy!
1.5 oz. (45ml) Baileys Irish Cream
.5 oz. (15ml) Almond Liqueur
.5 oz. (15ml) Hennessy
5 oz. (150 ml) Hot Water
Hot Chocolate
Whipped Cream
Next, Nutella Fireball Christmas.

The amazing NUTELLA FIREBALL CHRISTMAS. It's as if you are drinking your dessert. An incredible mix of fireball whisky, rum chata, nutella and egg nog. The best christmas drink ever!
1 oz. (30ml) Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
1 oz. (30ml) Rum Chata
3 oz. (90ml) Egg Nog
1 Tbsp. Nutella
Finally, How to make a Holiday Sangria.

THE HOLIDAY's delicious. Sangrias are usually thought of as summer drinks this one is perfect for the winter and can be served hot or cold. Enjoy
1 Apple
1 Pear
4 oz. (120ml) Brandy
1 Bottle Pinot Grigio
1 Cup Apple Cider
2 oz. (60ml) Simple Syrup
The lists of ingredients alone make these look yummy, and that was even before the drinks were mixed and sampled.

Yes, I know combining drink recipes with health tips isn't consistent, but as I wrote in Pie drinks for Thanksgiving, "I'm not the most consistent person, which is why I named my blog after Crazy Eddie."
