Schmitt and the other Senate Republicans were too invested in their narrative to realize that the facts didn't support it. Also, Schmitt only talking about NBA and Men's NCAA games showed that they didn't even consider Women's NCAA. That makes them look sexist as well as stupid. Kudos to Senator and likely future Governor Amy Klobuchar for correcting the record.
